Blackjack
Winning is on the cards!

The rules to Blackjack are fairly simple:
- Before the cards are dealt, Players are required to place their respective bets.
- The dealer will then deal two cards to each of the Players and two to himself.
- Cards 2 through 10 count their face value, the Face cards count as ten, and the Ace can count as one or eleven.
- A ‘Blackjack’ occurs if the Player’s first two cards are an Ace and a 10 or a Face card. In this instance the Player wins, unless the dealer also has a Blackjack, in which case it is a tie.
- The aim, if a Blackjack is not initially achieved, is to beat the Dealer’s hand without going over 21.
- To “Hit” is to ask for another card.
- To “Stand” is to hold your total and end your turn.
- Each Player begins with two cards, and one of the Dealer’s cards remains hidden until the end of a round.
- If the total of your hand goes over 21 you “bust” and the Dealer wins automatically.
- A Dealer will deal until his cards total 17 or higher.
- You may “split” your hand if you have two of the same card. It is then split into two hands. Splitting doubles the original bet, as each hand is worth the original bet.
